Source of Information: Data is updated from the Estonian population register (personal data, including time of leaving the country)
from the register of causes of death (death data, including the cause of death). Reporting cancer cases is mandatory for all doctors working in Estonia who diagnose or treat cancer. Forensic experts also submit data to the register.
Data level: patient level.
Available data level: regional level.

Date range: 1968 onwards.
