= Examples of successful supportive activities of croatian associations = Civil society organizations and patient associations play a vital role in providing support to patients with lung cancer. These groups often offer peer support systems where patients can connect with others going through similar experiences, providing a sense of community and understanding. They can also organize educational workshops and seminars to inform and educate patients, empowering them to actively participate in the treatment process. Patient associations are also active in the policies of the health system and the social care system by raising public and political stakeholders’ awareness of the needs of patients, and patients about their rights. A large number of civil society organizations that provide support to cancer patients operate in Croatia. A larger number of associations in Croatia are listed in the directory, while here we specifically highlight: '''Jedra Association - Zagreb''' Jordanovac 104 mail: info@jedra.hr Website: www.jedra.hr
