Civil society organizations, patient associations, play a vital role in providing support to patients with endometrial, vulvar, vaginal, or cervical cancer. These groups often offer peer support systems where patients can connect with others going through similar experiences, providing a sense of community and mutual understanding. They can also organize educational workshops and seminars to inform and empower patients to be actively involved in the treatment process.

Patient associations are also active in health and social care policy by raising awareness among the public and policy makers about the needs of patients, and informing patients about their rights.
