= Examples of successful supportive activities of croatian assocations = Civil society organizations and patient associations play a vital role in providing support to patients with ovarian cancer. These groups often offer a peer support system where patients can connect with others going through similar experiences, providing a sense of community and mutual understanding. They can also organize educational workshops and seminars to inform and educate patients to empower them to actively participate in the treatment process. Patient associations are also active in health and social care system policies by raising awareness among the public and political stakeholders about the needs of patients, and informing patients about their rights.
