Primary purpose: To provide the public, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers with data on new cancer cases reported to the Cancer Register in Denmark.

Sponsor, manager or home institution: The Danish Health Data Agency.

Type of information: Number of new cancer cases; Age-standardized incidence rate; Prevalence; Trends and developments in new cancer cases.

Data level: national level.

Cancer areas of interest: C00-C14: Mouth/throat cancers; C15-C26: Digestive system cancers; C30-C39: Lung/chest cancers; C43-C44: Skin cancers/melanoma; C50: Breast cancer;C51-C58: Female genitalia cancer; C60-C63: Male genitalia cancer; C64-C68: Urinary system cancers; C69-C72: Eye and brain cancer; C73-C75: Thyroid and other gland cancers; C43-C44: Skin cancers/melanoma; D00-D09: Early-stage cancers not yet spread D10-D36: Benign tumor; D37-D48: Growths of uncertain nature.
