Primary purpose: To provide a comprehensive, data-driven assessment of how cancer incidence, outcomes, care delivery, and system performance in Denmark have evolved over the past decade, to inform evaluation and strategic planning under Cancer Plan V.

Type of information: Comprehensive, longitudinal health system and epidemiological information on cancer in Denmark, including trends in cancer incidence, mortality, and survival from 2013 to 2023; changes in stage at diagnosis; developments in screening participation and outcomes; patterns of cancer treatment and care pathways across the health system; patient survival and quality indicators by cancer type; regional and population subgroup differences; and analyses of health system performance and capacity, all presented to support evaluation of Cancer Plan V and future cancer policy and service planning.
